Terms & Conditions

Age Restrictions

You must be aged 18 or older to buy alcohol. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.

By placing an order with us online you are confirming you are aged 18 or older. If you are buying alcohol for someone else the recipient must also be aged 18 or older.

Deliveries must be signed for by a person aged 18 or older. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request to see some form of ID. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.

Orders

If, for any reason, we are not able to fulfill your order we will contact you for further instruction.

Delivery

We currently only ship to the UK and the standard UK Mainland flat rate delivery charge is £5.00, discounted to £4.50 for local deliveries.

Orders will be shipped twice weekly on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS.  Orders placed before 10am on these days will be processed the same day.  Any orders placed after 10am on these days will be processed on the next delivery day (for example an order received at 12 noon on a Tuesday will be shipped on the Thursday).

If our courier is unable to deliver a package to your chosen delivery address, it will automatically be returned to us and a refund for the cost of the goods will be processed but not for the cost of shipping. Where incorrect address details or postcode are supplied, you may be required to pay an additional shipping charge to get this changed.

If you’re not home when delivery is attempted, our courier will try to leave the parcel with a neighbour if anybody is home nearby. If you’ve received a failed delivery attempt you can contact our courier directly to rearrange the delivery on a more suitable day or contact us and we’d be more than happy to help you out.

Remote Locations (the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Isles of Scilly) have additional shipping costs and longer delivery times.

If your delivery address is not recognised by our courier as being within the UK Mainland, a delivery surcharge will be applied to the shipping cost automatically at checkout.

As a guide, the surcharges listed below will be applied.

Please note, in the event of a Free Delivery promotion, the base £5.00 delivery charge will be discounted but the surcharges listed will still apply.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY BEER

To keep your beer in the best possible condition the key thing to watch out for is light – particularly sunlight.  Never store beer in direct sunlight as it damages the flavour.  Storage should be in a cool dark place.

As for the perfect temperature, it’s best to serve beer a little warmer than the temperature of your fridge to allow the flavours to come through.
